Terms of service
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: February 2026
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded between you and Saskia Diez, operating under SASKIA DIEZ, via our online store at www.saskia-diez.com.
Conflicting or deviating terms of the customer shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.
A consumer is any natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
A business is any natural or legal person acting in the exercise of their commercial or professional activity.
II. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in our online store constitutes an invitation to submit an order and does not represent a legally binding offer.
By placing an order and clicking the “Purchase” button, you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase agreement.
The contract is concluded when we confirm your order via email or dispatch the goods.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring that communication from us can be received.
III. Prices and Payment
All prices are stated in Euro and include applicable VAT.
Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout.
We reserve the right to adjust prices displayed on our website at any time and without prior notice.
As gold, precious metals and gemstones are traded internationally, their market value may fluctuate. For this reason, prices shown online — particularly for made-to-order or customised products — may change prior to the conclusion of the contract.
The binding purchase price is the price stated at the time the contract is concluded in accordance with Section II.
We accept payment via Shopify Payments and PayPal. Payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
IV. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
V. Delivery
Delivery is made via DHL or DHL Express to the address provided during checkout.
Delivery times are indicated on the respective product page or during checkout.
For consumers, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration passes upon delivery of the goods.
For businesses, risk passes upon dispatch.
VI. Warranty
The statutory warranty rights apply. For consumers, the statutory warranty period is two years from delivery. For businesses, the warranty period is one year from delivery.
Normal wear, material-related changes (such as tarnishing), improper handling, or external influences do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
VII. Custom and Personalised Products
Products manufactured according to individual specifications are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
This includes, in particular:
- wedding bands made to order
- engraved items
- custom-made pieces
- products manufactured in special sizes outside our standard size range
Products that are part of our regular collection and ordered within the standard size range offered in our online shop remain subject to the statutory right of withdrawal.
Production of personalised or custom-made items begins upon confirmation of the order. Once production has commenced, cancellation is no longer possible.
Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
VIII. Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For consumers residing outside Germany, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.
